The Grand Opening of HKR International Corporate Gallery: Continuing the Journey of Creating a Lifestyle

HKR International Limited (“HKRI”) officially inaugurated its first Corporate Gallery. Located on the 38th floor of the HKRI Centre 1 in Jing'an District, Shanghai, the hall features a unique immersive experience themed "Sky Realm," showcasing HKRI’s confidence in flourishing with the city.  Mr Victor Cha, Executive Chairman of HKRI, Mr Martin Lee, Chief Projects Officer, Ms Violet Lam, Senior General Manager of Business Development and Marketing, Ms Connie Ting, General Manager of Leasing and Management, Ms Charlotte Ho, General Manager of Branding & Marketing, and Mr Mike Wang, Assistant General Manager of Business Development & Marketing in PRC, attended the opening to commemorate this significant milestone.

The Corporate Gallery integrates brand presence, project showcase, and VIP lounge into a cohesive experience. Through innovative design and multimedia presentations, it constructs a multi-dimensional environment that vividly narrates HKRI’s nearly half-century journey and its numerous flagship commercial and residential projects. Visitors can engage in immersive viewing experiences, transcending time and space to gain deeper insights into the Group’s rich heritage and future vision, embarking on a lifestyle journey.

Mr Victor Cha noted that reflecting on past developments underscores the Group’s commitment to embracing change and its confidence in evolving alongside the city. HKRI will continue to uphold the principles of “Respect” and “Excellence,” dedicated to harness the overall development of the Greater Bay Area and expand business in the Yangtze River Delta Region with a focus on creating more quality projects.

The decision to open the first Corporate Gallery in Shanghai is closely tied to the Group's historical development. In the early 21st century, HKRI seized emerging opportunities, exploring new investment prospects in mainland China and ultimately establishing a presence in the core area of Jing'an District in Shanghai, thus initiating its business strategy in the Yangtze River Delta. To date, the Group has residential and commercial property projects in Shanghai, Jiaxing, and Hangzhou, with various projects steadily progressing.

The flagship commercial complex, HKRI Taikoo Hui, has matured over years of operation and is now undergoing a new round of upgrades. The North Piazza upgrade has been completed, connecting the Piazza with the underground commercial area and establishing an interconnected three-dimensional routing system. The first residential development in Shanghai, River One, is set for official handover this year, highlighting the group's commitment to urban quality living.

Jiaxing's sixth residential project, Sienna One, is scheduled to launch in 2025, introducing a new generation of residential concept centred around "luxury bungalows". Moving forward, the Group embraces change with a proactive attitude, continuing to establish a strong local presence with a stable operational strategy to "create a lifestyle" for consumers.

Since the 1970s, HKRI has been a pioneer in developing resort-style residential communities in Hong Kong, such as Discovery Bay, which has long stood as a model of comprehensive residential projects in Asia. Over the past 40 years, Discovery Bay has continually optimised and upgraded its offerings, recently launching the DB 2.0 Blueprint, with plans to introduce new residential projects in the second half of this year. Additionally, the overall community facilities and transportation infrastructure will be enhanced to create more green spaces and provide quality residences, allowing residents and visitors to enjoy a more comfortable leisure experience.

HKRI is exploring further development opportunities in the Greater Bay Area. Discovery Bay will align with the Greater Bay Area's growth, transforming it into a regional leisure hotspot.

Since the launch of Discovery Bay, HKRI has evolved from a single-project developer into a conglomerate with footprint across Asia, encompassing property development and investment, property management, luxury hotels and leisure businesses, transportation services, and more. For nearly 50 years, the Group has upheld a belief in exploration and innovation, striving to create greater value for the industry, society, and consumers. Moving forward, HKRI will continue to embrace challenges and opportunities with determination and action, collaborating with more stakeholders to “create a lifestyle”.
